This is a facsimile reproduction of “A Map of The County of Essex 1777 by John Chapman and Peter Andre” published by The Essex County Council, Chelmsford in 1950 without its dust jacket. The book is unpaginated but has 28 pages. This Map is from an actual survey undertaken between 1772 and 1774. The book is in very good condition with no marks or inscriptions although there is some browning to the end pages and the corners of the boards are bumped. Also included is the original receipt for the atlas from Essex County Council in September 1950. Overseas purchasers may incur extra postage due to the weight of the book.
