Poetical Remains of James The First King of Scotland
Book Description
This is a leather bound H/Bk copy of “Poetical Remains of James The First, King of Scotland” published by J & E Balfour, Edinburgh in 1783. The book has 246 pages of text and someone has written on the front end paper some notes suggesting that the author of the works was James V not James I. a previous owner has also written on the inside of the front board that “This edition was edited by Mr Tytler”. There are no other marks or writing in the book. I cannot tell if the binding is original but it looks as if it could be! The binding is quite tight and the hinges are good but the edges and corners are rubbed and bumped respectively. If you have any questions about the book please email me.
