Book Description

This is a presumed 1st edition H/Bk copy of “The Secret of Lotos Island” by Michael Poole (AKA Reginald Herber Poole) and published by Nisbet & Co. in 1930 with its clipped dust jacket. The book is undated and has 255 pages including 3 advertising other titles and is bound in orange cloth with the titles on the spine in black. There is a Boys Brigade prize label on the front end paper to John Wanless and the “This book belongs to” section has been filled in by J Wanless. The page edges are spotty but there is no foxing internally. The book is in pretty good condition and the jacket has a few chips and creases but is pretty much all there.
