Image 227 x 385 mm, Plate 257 x 395 mm, Sheet 323 x 485 mm unmounted Full title reads: A Perspective View of the Neva, towards the East, between the Galleys Dock & the thirteenth Line of Wassile Oxtroff, at St. Petersburg. / Vüe Perspective de la Neva, vers l’Orient, entre le chantier des Galeres et al 13.me Ligne de Wassili Ostroff a St. Petersburg. View of the River Neva in St. Petersburg with boats in the river in good original colour. The title inscribed in English and French with the number 82 in the upper right of the plate. Robert Laurie worked in partnership with James Whittle and continued Robert Sayer’s prolific and well-established business on Fleet Street, issuing prints, maps, illustrated books, charts, and nautical works. Condition: Laid to an early 19th century light card album page, printer’s crease running through the right of the image, some marks and surface dirt in the margins not affecting the image
