Welcome to the PBFA
The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association was founded in 1974, with just 20 members, in order to provide provincial bookdealers with a shop window in London by holding a regular book fair. Nearly 40 years later we have over 500 members and regularly organise more than 80 book fairs a year.
The PBFA's huge variety of fairs throughout the UK (together with the annual Dublin fair) are all listed in the 2012 PBFA Calendar of Book Fairs, available from our fairs, members' shops, and the PBFA office.

Complimentary Tickets to PBFA Fairs
A 'universal' ticket is now available and can be printed here and used at any PBFA fair.
In addition, a 'Friends of the PBFA' scheme has just been launched.
Membership costs £10 p.a, and subscribers will receive a distinctive card, the same free admission as anyone using the complimentary ticket above, a copy of the 2012 'Directory of Members of the PBFA' (cover price £5) and entry into a prize drawer for £10 vouchers to spend at PBFA fairs. Additional benefits will be added later.
