two volumes in contemporary quarter calf gilt bindings show some edge and corner wear with rubbing and some loss - some rubbing to the spines of both volumes with minor loss to the head of volume one - outer hinges starting to crack - former owners name in ink in both volumes - contents are clean fresh and tight with some occasional foxing and some offsetting from the plates
