Previous owner s signature on title page and printed on back endpaper. Containing a dialogue in the Lancashire dialect, a glossary of Lancashire words and phrases, and miscellaneous poems and letters of Tim Bobbin, a.k.a. John Collier, a collector and recorder of Lancahire dialect. Part two is The Battle of the Flying Dragon, printed for the author Tim Bobbin, with a separate title page. One of the earliest and best of the English dialect dictionaries including many quaint and unusual phrases.
