'Balbirnie' stamp to tail of spine - previously home of the Balfour family, in Fife, from 1640, until the house was sold in 1969. Text is bright and clean throughout. No foxing or spotting. Probably unread as many pages still uncut at top edge.Soundly bound. A near fine volume.  Text in English. xvi + 300pp, including Index + 32pp Publisher's catalogue. With 38 Woodcut illustrations in the text. Dimensions: approx 200mm high x 139mm wide x 32mm deep. Weight: approximately 614g (unpacked).
