This first English edition was released simultaneously in the US by Alfred A. Knopf in a distinctly different format and lay-out. The US edition was designed by Chip Kidd and published as a paperback original. The UK edition was designed by Suzanne Dean and exists in pink and yellow boards. The yellow variant appears to be particularly scarce.
