Bound in lovely full red crushed morocco by Sidney Brough. Gilt raised bands, titles & inset Arts and Crafts decoration to front board. Light rubbing to the joints & the tail of the spine, extremities rubbed and a little bumped, a few scuffs and scratches to boards. Gilt dentelles. Complete with tags loosely inserted detailing the student binding. Lacking (bound without) title page, with many publisher's advertisements local to Hereford. Some loss to upper corner of final leaf of advertisement. Internally a little age-toned and some light foxing. In a delightful amateur student binding, with loosely inserted tag dated 1908 & denoting Brough's age as 17, reading 'completely bound by the student'.
