Half red morocco and green cloth near fine dustwrapper. J.S. Howson traces the course of the River Dee from it source above Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) to the estuary beyond Chester. The book includes high quality illustrations of woodcuts by Alfred Rimmer who also wrote two of the chapters on the halls and castles of the Dee.
