This complete collection includes poems such as A Song for the Workers on the ‘Early Closing’ movement for shorter working hours. Also includes her poems for children. Highly decorated cloth binding with decorative titles heavily illustrated in gilt. Further illustration in black onto a green cloth binding. Bevelled boards. Gilt to all edges. Black and white frontis portrait. and small number of further black and white plates. Each page decorated with red rulled margins. Very nicely produced edition for the Lansdowne Poets series. Complete edition with notes. xv,624pp.
Lightly rubbed to edges and to corner tips. Slightly softened to spine ends. Gilt is bright. Foxed to prelim but only occasionally within. Occasional pencil annotation in a light, old fashioned hand, probably the original owner. A clean tight square volume.
