The Origin Of Cells, O.B. Lepeshinskaya, Foreign Languages Publishing House, 1954 Rare indeed unseen elsewhere. As an active Marxist pre revolution Lepeshinskaya was sent to Siberia for three years in 1897 along with her partner, subsequently developing ties with Stalin and Lenin and completing her medical studies in Moscow. In the early 50s she won the Stalin Prize for her work on the origin of all living cells from inanimate matter. The paperback book is in good condition. The binding is straight and tight and the boards clean. There is a crease to the bottom corner of the front cover. a crease to the top corner of the front cover, a tear to the top corner of the front cover, a tear to the bottom edge of the front cover, wear to the spine and a slightly darkened back cover. The end papers and page are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
