This is a good copy of a scarce 1940s book, published by Hachette in their 'Junior Detective' series of books. 'The Mystery of The Missing Mouse' is written and illustrated by Jack Roberts. This copy retains the original dust wrapper, although this is very worn and torn to the front. The boards and end papers also show signs of wear (including erased letters to rear end paper - see photo). Internally, the book has a neat gift inscription to rear of ffep and has signs of use throughout (which are never terrible). Charming illustrations by Roberts - and hard to find in any condition.
