Book Description

This is a 1st edition H/Bk copy of “The London Scottish in the Second World War 1939-1945” edited by Brigadier C. N. Barclay, C.B.E., D.S.O. and published by Clowes in 1952 with its unclipped/unpriced dust jacket. The book has 459 pages of text and 23 pages of black and white photographs and 10 fold out maps. The book previously belonged to Pte A Batey of the 1st Battalion who served during WWII and whose details are inscribed on the FEP. There are no other marks or inscriptions in the book. The book is in very good condition with only minor bumping at the corners and edges. The jacket is also in very good condition with only a few minor nicks at the edges.
