An attractive and unusual Victorian cover showing an early side by side tandem bicycle with feathered wings apparently flying. This fantasy / sci-fi image predates the Wright Brothers actual powered flight of 1903. There are a great number of pieces of sheet music depicting all manner of aeronautics in the Bella C. Landauer Collection of Aeronautical Sheet Music (Smithsonian Institution. Libraries), including one of the same name dated 1909 showing an actual viable machine but not this particular piece of music.
