Book Description

The Birds of the Island of Bute, John Morell McWilliam, pub. Witherby 1927, 1st ed. 128 pages. Illustrated with b/w photographs. Green cloth is vg. Few spots of foxing mainly to first and last few pages, but also within on a few pages and foreedges of text block. Jacket is complete save for a few chips at corners and top and bottom of spine. Spine darkened, with small watermark. A book very hard to find in a good jacket, and here with the addition of the author's card with the word 'from' handwritten so clearly a presenttation copy to someone. No inscriptions to add further clues.
