Artists include Anne Anderson, Joyce Mercer, Grace Lodge, Anne Rochester, there are also S G Hulme Beaman Toytown stories, with illustrations by him. There is a “surprise section in full colours” to commemorate the upcoming coronation on May 12th 1937 of His Majesty King Edward VIII. [which of course never happened due to his abdication] This section still has the original decorative paper band around it. 768 pages. 255 x 185 mm [approx. 10” x 7 ¼”] dark blue embossed boards titled in gilt on spine, original publisher’s colourful pictorial dust jacket.
