In good condition, the (variant) binding is tight with a slight lean and the lettering on the spine is quite bright. There are marks to the front board, two indentations to the fore edge of the front board, a small indentation to the top edge of the front board, a small nick to the top edge of the spine, two small nicks to the bottom edge of the spine, marks and sunning to the spine and marks to the back board. The toned end papers and pages are free from tears. There are marks to the page edges.
