Dealer Notes
Carlos María Moyano (1854-1910), a naval officer, took part in several expeditions to Patagonia, his first being the 1877 expedition under Francisco Moreno to the Santa Cruz river. In 1883 he led his own expedition to the basin of the Santa Cruz, Coile and Gallegos rivers, reaching the Chilean estuaries in the Puerto Natales region, and finally Punta Arenas on the Strait of Magellan.
