Norman Hartnell original sketched design with fabric swatches. A drawing of a male model wearing a blazer and check trousers signed by Hartnell Autumn 1973. Image size 34 by 24 cm. in a stiff card mount size 56 by 40 cm. The image features an elongated figure in the style of a James Bond-type character of the Roger Moore period, hand-coloured and with Hartnell’s signature in ink beneath. Pinned to the side of the model are six cloth samples. Hartnell was one of the major figures in 20th century British fashion design and was dressmaker to Queen Elizabeth II. VG condition
