Frontis to each volume, vignette title page in red and black, five full page plates and many engravings to text, and to foot and head of chapters. Publishers boards with a roan backstrip, worn to head and foot, internally very good; edges uncut, partially unopened. A beautifully illustrated and rather rare volume, this example with good margins. Paciaudio dedicated himself to cataloguing and describing the Greek remains from the Peloponnese which had been taken by the Venetians, resulting in this well-written and well-illustrated account.
