Book Description

Man-Eaters Of Kumaon, Jim Corbett, Oxford University Press, 1952, Illustrated Edition, First Edition, First Impression The best known of the author's books. This details the experiences he had in the Kumaon region of India from the 1900s to the 1930s while hunting man-eating Bengal tigers and Indian leopards. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover still retains its excellent colouring and is in very good condition. There is loss to both corners of the front cover, a crease to the bottom edge of the front cover, nibbling to the top and bottom edges of the spine, loss to the corners of the spine and a small tear to the top edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
