Dealer Notes
The Italian text edited by Mario Casella of the University of Florence with the English version of H. F. Cary and 42 illustrations after the drawings by Sandro Botticelli. A lovely copy with much less warping and fading than is often the case. The Cary translation, familiar to the Romantic poets, in parallel with Dante’s original verse and beautifully combined with Botticelli’s drawings.
