Published by Thomas Brear, Bradford, 1881, 1st edition. Green cloth boards with bevelled edges, gilt lettering to spine, gilt borders and crest of arms to front board. Blind stamped borders to rear board, no dustwrapper. Aeg. 8.75ins x 5.75ins, patterned endpapers, iv, 232pp, vii (index) plus 29pp plates. Of these plates 19 are tissue guarded woodburytype plates depicting Mayors of Bradford. Nine are full page line drawings and one is a map. Also other line drawings within the text. Light foxing to title page and introduction page else a VG copy.
