Book Description

Large Advertising Poster on three sheets; total size 2310 x 1020 mm. Printed in colours for pasting onto billboards, this is a very scarce piece of Heath Robinson advertising material apparently not listed in any bibliography. Because it was intended for pasting and subsequent disposal very few copies will have survived. There is some fraying, especially to the edge of the top sheet, and a very small loss in the centre of the top sheet where it has been folded. Each sheet has been folded lengthwise once. Generally an excellent example of a very scarce item which we have been unable to trace elsewhere. Harry Tate [1872 - 1940] was a music hall comedian famous for his sketches on golf, motoring and fishing. Further digital images available on request.
