Charming small volume, just 130 by 80mm (5 by 3¼ inches), in over-sized or semi-yapp vellum stamped with gilt castellated device to both boards and with green ribbon ties. 336pp+index. Commonly called Lucius Anneus Florus though his identity is not confidently known. Fl. 2AD.
Dealer Notes
Very neat ink name of previous owner dated 1716 to the header of the title page. A41 in ink to the upper board. Ribbons are worn. Vellum is darkened and slightly spotted. Text is clean and binding is sound.
