Book Description

1st Edition, 1st Printing. 13.3 x 20.4 cm red boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, 135(1)pp. In original unclipped dust jacket priced at £2.50. A clean and bright book with firm sharp corners. Internally without name, inscription or bookplate and just a little spotting to the edge of the text block. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), is lightly toned on the white sections and with a little fading to the titles on the spine and a hint of light creasing along the top edge. All in all an excellent copy of this uncommon satirical look at the Kennedy political dynasty created by burns combining newspaper headlines, cartoons and photographs to create ‘a surreal biography and alternate history which lays bare the corruption and excesses of capitalism.’
