NB: Text is in German throughout. Cream paper-covered boards with gilt and red decoration. Colour frontispiece. Undated, but c.1930. Condition: Covers are in fair condition, being quite rubbed and scuffed, with some light soiling. Slight grubbiness and some foxing to endpapers. One inch vertical split to lower left corner of paper-covered board of the front cover where it meets the spine. Binding sound. 194 photographic reproductions and illustrations, including 21 in colour. In this book, the author describes the decoration and design of the German-built S.S.Bremen, an ocean-liner constructed for the Norddeutscher Lloyd line (NDL), and launched on August 16, 1928. The volume includes a complete list of contractors to the rear, including Walter Knoll, Stuttgart and Vereinigte Werkstatten fur Kunst im Handwerk AG, Munich
