Book Description

Softcover with blue cloth tape around spine (as issued). Condition: Very good with very light shelfwear to covers, which are bright and clean, as are the internal pages. Binding sound. Previous owners bookplate neatly fixed below index on reverse of front cover. 45pp. This book was designed, drawn, printed and published by Rena Gardiner at her Workshop Press in Tarrant Monkton. The caption on the rear cover reads thus: "The illustrations in this book are from drawing made directly onto lithographic aluminium plates. They are therefore originals and not reproductions of drawings made on paper." The Tarrant is one of the many streams of the Dorset chalklands. This book follows the course of the Tarrant down its valley, but diversions have been made to take in outlying villages. The last part continues along the river Stour back to Blandford.
