Not in the Arctic Bibliography. Godfred Hansen, a Danish naval officer, was second-in-command on Amundsen’s expedition through the Northwest Passage. His account of the expedition appeared as an appendix in Amundsen’s official narrative, but four years later this uncommon free-standing narrative by Hansen appeared in Copenhagen.
