Dealer Notes
Yakushi E64; Czech Asia p. 72. “Biographical account of the author’s travels in Tibet, Nepal, Central Asia, & etc. He was a big game hunter” (Yakushi). “The author relates numerous hunting trips and travel abroad, including shikar after elephant and rhinoceros in the Terai in India, Ovis Ammon in the Altai Shan, and wild bears and boars in Asia Minor. The descriptions are rather sketchy compared to the emphasis on collecting birds, butterflies, and plant specimens” (Czech).
