Book Description
Album, 24 x 21 x 5 cm, intricate inlaid design on wooden boards, brown morocco spine; 48 cabinet-card windows with gilt printed borders on 24 leaves, all edges gilt; some cracks and slight distortion to the surface of wood, a few small losses to extremities of wood boards, clasp missing.
Dealer Notes
An unusual album, possibly the work of an amateur craftsman. A bird framed within a floral design adorns the upper board and a full-length male figure in rustic costume holding baskets, also framed within a floral pattern, is featured on the lower board.
