Dealer Notes
The paperback is lightly rubbed to the rear cover and external hinges. Laurie Lee has boldly signed the book to the half-title. The 2 letters are in his hand, in the original stamped envelopes (date-stamped 29th January & 4th February 1969). The letters are one side and 3 sides respectively, from Lee's address in Elm Park SW10 to a Mr Albert Andrews at Rose Cottage, Slad, Stroud and concern illegal occupancy of Lee's cottage there. The first letter is quite sharp in tone, the second one conciliatory. UNIQUE
