Small 8vo., 90 x 117mm; publisher’s accordion-folded 8-leaf panorama on board, with plates and text to both sides, each section hinged with blue cloth, with a thin ribbon tie to fore-edge; with a total of 9 characteristically striking full colour plates by Preston (including covers) opposing pretty pictorial text plates, each featuring simple 4-line verses; a very good copy with minor rubbing and very small edge-wear, with spine ribbon sympathetically replaced and without the presentation cardboard box; rare. First, and apparently sole, edition. Not in Hillier.
