Dealer Notes
= Very rare, only 2 copies in public collections (Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris and University Munchen). Not in Erasmus Collection, Rotterdam. Contains a dedicatory epistle by Desiderius Erasmus on Charles Mountjoy, dated 1531, and by Sigismundus Gelenius. Gelenius worked together with Erasmus for some time and lived in his household. Erasmus, Gelenius and Beatus Rhenanus were all befriended humanists working and studying together.
Pagination skips pages 129-130, but no trace of missing leaf and guidewords matching. A few small stains on title-page, else fine
