Original full crushed blue morocco binding (some rubbing to corners), banded spine (endcaps rubbed), boards alike with decorative gilt frame with lacework corner ornaments.
Attractive “Leicester Square Edition” edition of the works of Shakespeare with tipped in Woodburytype prints of paintings representing scenes from the various Shakespeare plays and a title photograph of the Giovanni Fontana sculpted statue of Shakespeare in Leicester Square in keeping with the edition. A very good copy (light titlepage offsetting of frontis and occ. light spotting to prelims & titles).
