A souvenir rose, approx. 26cm. diameter, folding down to 12 x 8cm., eight panels to each side, two printed in colour and the remainder black and white, each captioned in Spanish; a little foxing, else in very good condition.

Dealer Notes

The souvenir rose was one of a series printed by C. Adler’s Printing Establishment in Hamburg. The rose folds into a two-sided bouquet of flowers, and opens out into a doily-shaped gallery of engraved scenes and views of Montevideo. The images include public buildings (theatre, university, churches) and views of the city.
