New edition, revised, originally published in 1807. 12mo (6.75 x 4 ins); pp xliv, 354. Frontispiece engraving of a kitchen bedecked in game, hams and pots, and and nine further plates. Bound in contemporary sheep, gilt spine, edges of spine cracked but holding fast, small area of scouring on lower board. Contents extremely clean with not a trace of foxing, plates with strong imprint. A VG+ copy. Seven of the plates show sections of different meats and fish butchered into joints.
