Event Information

Located in the historic centre of Bury, the hall is a stone's throw from the much-photographed Abbey Gate, the award-winning Abbey Gardens and the Cathedral.

The fair is held on a Saturday when the region’s largest traditional outdoor market takes over the streets, so there's plenty to do and see if you have any time left after perusing the wide range of books, maps and ephemera on offer at the fair.

Free entry.

The fair is kindly sponsored by Lacy Scott & Knight auctioneers, Bury St Edmunds.

Sadly, after an incredible 45 years, this will be our last book fair in Bury.  Thank you to everyone who has visited and supported the fairs over the years - we hope you have enjoyed them as much as we have!
