Monogram edition. Four volumes comprising, When We Were Very Young, 1929 18th Edition, Winnie The Pooh 1929, 8th Edition, Now We Are Six, 1928 4th Edition, House At Pooh Corner, 1929 3rd. Uniformly bound in publisher's tan roan, with gilt titles and vignettes of the characters to the spine, gilt and brown border to the upper board with a brown blocked hexagonal device containing author’s monogram 'A.A.M.' in gilt. All edges gilt, brown silk bookmark. Pictorial endpapers. Each volume comes with the remains of the books original glassine jackets.
An absolutely beautiful set with none of the usual rubbing to the spine tips. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and just a hint of ghosting to the free endpapers on The House At Pooh Corner. The glassine jackets are worn and chipped and one is in two pieces but they have done an excellent job in protecting the books
