History of the Campaign in the Year 1815 [Waterloo]
Book Description
History of the Campaign of the British, Dutch, Honoverian, and Brunswick Armies, under the Command of the Duke of Wellington, and of the Prussians, under that of Prince Blucher of Wahlstadt, in the year 1815: with a plan of the Battle of Waterloo; or La Belle-Alliance.
Baron von Mueffling ('C de M') fought in the preliminary battles and in the Battle of Waterloo. This eye-witness account of the campaigns was written on 19 June 1815, just one day after the Battle. Mueffling's intention had been to only publish this account in German. Sir John Sinclair obtained and published this translation of Mueffler's account and includes additional material germane to the military history of the campaign in the Appendix.
