Title page undated, only one copy located on Copac, and a date of circa 1873 is given for that copy, written inscription in this copy dated December 1884, this is a generally good acceptable example of this very scarce Victorian book of a walking tour in Belgium bound in the original pictorial cloth boards, just under 8 inches tall, 456 pages, not illustrated. The covers have some edge and corner bumping, some mild bubbling to the cloth on rear cover, small lightened spot on leading edge of rear cover, some general darkening of cloth with some mild marks, internally pictured inscription to front endpaper, title page and last page of text noticeably browned, some marking to a few pages else contents generally clean A GOOD ACCEPTABLE EXAMPLE OF THE FIRST EDITION OF THIS VERY SCARCE BOOK
