Ulysses, James Joyce, The Bodley Head, 1967, First Edition, Seventh Impression Considered one of the most important works of modernist literature, this story chronicles the experiences of three Dubliners over the course of a single day, 16th June 1904. The book has double dust jackets. There is a neat personal dedication and date to the front end paper. The book is in fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks and tears. The first unclipped dust jacket (green in colour) is in near fine condition with two small indentations to the top edge of the front cover and minimal shelf wear to the top edge of the spine. The second unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in very good condition with wear to the edge of the front cover, marks to the spine and wear to the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
