A lovely, early book illustrated by Hilda Cowham. 'The Wimple Children' features many line drawings by Cowham, as well as 4 colour plates (alongside the great front cover). This copy shows wear to its card covers, with rubbing especially to the spine. Internally good, although some childish chalking to some line drawings (nothing disastrous!!) and a name and date to inner front cover.
