Book Description

The Sunbird, Wilbur Smith, Hardback, Heinemann, 1972, First Edition, First Impression A splendid first edition, first impression of Wilbur Smith's sixth novel. The book centres around an archaeological dig in modern Botswana and was a Smith favourite inspired by H.Rider Haggard. A near fine book in very good dust jacket. The binding is tight and straight, the boards clean and bright. Gilt lettering is clear and bright. The endpapers and pages are clean without tears, marks or inscriptions. Page edges are mildly toned in line with age. The unclipped jacket has retained its colouring well. Nibbling to the top and bottom of the spine and corners. Will be dispatched promptly, fully insured and professionally packaged.
