Not the source book for the 2010 Norwegian film Trollhunter, to our knowledge at least, but instead a charmingly illustrated book by an artist best known perhaps as the illustrator for Ghost Stories of an Antiquary by M.R. James, a close friend of McBryde who had hoped his collection of stories would serve to showcase the artist’s work. Unfortunately McBryde died having only completed four plates. Rare in this condition.
