Published in Southampton in 1876, this is the town directory for that year, bound in the original cloth binding titled and decorated in gilt to spine and upper cover, 440 pages followed by a 72 page catalogue of local business adverts, some general darkening to cloth with some wear to spine ends and corners, spotting to cloth on rear board, some splits to cloth along spine edge, internally old ownership bookplate to front endpaper (pictured) a few foxing marks and light creasing wear else contents in nice general condition
