Published in Hyde in 1856, this is the second edition of this scarce chapbook style printing of this 35 page work on the history of the Cheshire town. Stab sewn in the original printed wrappers, 7 inches tall approx. The covers are darkened with some marking and chipping wear, noticeable corner loss to two corners on back cover, internally short edge tear with no loss to one page (pictured) corner loss to top corners of a few pages, else in good acceptable condition.
