Book Description

This is an amazing set of books in beautiful condition. The obsession to detail is incredible. The original was published in France in 1973 and this edition has been translated by David H. Roberts. The book is a 'practical treatise on the art of Naval Architecture'. Volume 1 - Hull construction; Volume 2 - Fitting out the Hull; Volume 3 - Masts, sails and Rigging; Volume 4 - Manning and Shiphandling. In several of the volumes there are many pull out detailed plans. APOLOGIES - the photograph was tricky and all volumes are the same colour as the top two and all are in excellent condition.
